At The Kidz Spot, we are committed to providing high-quality kids' products and ensuring our customers have a positive shopping experience. We carefully inspect our products before dispatch; however, if an issue occurs with your order, we are here to help.

This Returns & Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through The Kidz Spot.

1. Returns for Damaged or Faulty Products

Returns or replacements are accepted only where the product has a genuine manufacturing fault, arrives damaged, or is torn upon delivery.

To request a return or replacement, customers must contact us within 7 days of receiving the product through our website contact form and provide:

  • Order number

  • Photos or videos showing the damage or fault

  • A description of the issue

Once reviewed and approved, The Kidz Spot may provide:

  • A replacement product at no additional cost; or

  • A suitable resolution in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Products damaged due to misuse, incorrect washing, improper care, accidental damage, or normal wear and tear are not considered eligible for return or replacement.

2. Incorrect Product Delivered

If you receive a product that is different from the item you ordered (for example, a different design, colour, or product), please contact us through our website contact form.

After verification, The Kidz Spot will provide the correct product at no additional cost.

Customers are not required to pay additional shipping costs where the incorrect item was supplied due to an error on our behalf.

3. Incorrect Size Delivered

If we send a size that is different from the size selected in your order, we will provide the correct size replacement at no additional cost, subject to product availability.

Please note:

  • We are not responsible for differences between expected measurements and the actual fit of a product.

  • Kids' clothing sizes can vary between brands and styles.

  • Customers should carefully review the size guide provided on each product page before ordering.

A size replacement will only apply where the size received is different from the size ordered.

4. Change of Mind & Size Selection

The Kidz Spot does not accept returns or refunds for:

  • Change of mind

  • Incorrect size selection by the customer

  • Products that do not fit due to personal expectations

  • Differences in colour appearance caused by screen settings

  • Minor variations in measurements, fabric, or product appearance

We strongly recommend reviewing product descriptions and size guides before placing an order.

5. Order Cancellation Requests

Refund requests for order cancellations must be submitted within 24 hours (1 day) of placing the order through our website contact form.

Once an order has been processed, packed, or fulfilled, cancellation requests may no longer be possible.

The Kidz Spot may consider special circumstances on a case-by-case basis depending on the status of the order.

If an approved cancellation is granted before fulfilment, a refund may be issued to the original payment method.

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed after confirmation and may take several business days to appear in your account depending on your payment provider.

Shipping fees, where applicable, may not be refundable unless required under Australian Consumer Law.

Australian Consumer Law Rights

The Kidz Spot complies with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer rights available under Australian Consumer Law.

Under ACL, customers may be entitled to a remedy where a product:

  • Is faulty or defective

  • Is significantly different from its description

  • Does not match the sample or advertised product

  • Does not meet acceptable quality standards

Where required by law, The Kidz Spot will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement, or refund.

Minor issues, normal variations, or customer preference changes are not considered product faults under Australian Consumer Law.
